Report: Course Content Utilization
Description:
Displays each user's access to course activities, including time spent, first and last access, and most recently used browser, operating system, and IP address. Links to user profiles, course pages, and activity pages provide easy navigation. Panels summarize total courses, users, and activities. This helps instructors, managers, and academic staff track engagement patterns and verify user activity.
Roles that may benefit from this report:
Instructors: Can use this report to see a list of learner participation in each activity and determine which activities learners are visiting most, spending the most time on, and viewing over the longest period of time. Instructors can also use this report to track engagement of students with different course activities to assess their participation and identify areas for improvement.
LMS Administrators: Can use this report to see learner participation in each activity by activity type and determine which types of activities learners and instructors are visiting most, spending the most time on, and viewing over the longest period of time. Administrators can gain insights into the effectiveness of course content and make data-driven decisions for curriculum improvement.
Managers: Can use to monitor overall engagement trends and verify user activity across all courses.
Registrars: Can use to validate course enrollments and ensure accurate academic records.
Academic Advisors: Can use to identify students who may require additional support and timely intervention.
Instructional Designers: Can use to analyze user engagement details to assess course effectiveness and make data-driven improvements to curriculum design.
Header Data:
Total Courses: Shows the total number of unique courses in the report. This number adjusts based on filters used within the report.
Total Users: Shows the total number of unique users in the report. This number adjusts based on filters used within the report.
Total Activities: Shows the total number of activities in the report. This number adjusts based on filters used within the report.
