After it is enabled, the Instructor Dashboard is automatically associated with the Teacher Role in the LMS System. Instructors do not need a separate IntelliBoard account to utilize the Instructor Dashboard. IntelliBoard Admins must set up Instructor Dashboards.
Assigning Instructor Roles
From the ADMINISTRATION block in your LMS system, click through the following: Site Administration > Plugins > Local plugins > IntelliBoard.net Plugin
From plugin settings, scroll to the Dashboard filters header. Then scroll to Teacher roles. Choose the roles you want to have access to the Instructor Dashboard. Click "Save changes" in your LMS system.
If you are using custom roles, please also ensure the custom role has the ability to view IntelliBoard in the role permissions. Additionally, the Teacher role must be enabled at the course-level instead of the system-level. Also, the custom role must also be selected in the settings above. To check the Permissions, please click through the following: Site Administration > Users > Permissions > Define Rolesand ensure any custom teacher roles have IntelliBoard [Instructor] set to “allow” (image below; 'Teacher' will be replaced by your custom role name).

Setting the Instructor Dashboard Permissions
From the ADMINISTRATION block in your LMS system, click through the following: Site Administration > Plugins > Local plugins > IntelliBoard.net Plugin
From Settings, scroll to the Instructor Dashboard Header.
Enabling and disabling the specific components of the Instructor Dashboard will change the Instructor Dashboard for everyone. While the data within the Instructor Dashboard will change based off the specific user, the template for the Instructor Dashboard remains the same. If the check box is clicked, the item is enabled for all with Instructor Dashboard access. If the check box is not clicked, the item is disabled.
NOTE: Enabling "Group Aggregation" setting in this block will filter Instructor Dashboard for teachers not only by their courses and students, but also by course groups they're enrolled in. This will be applied for all tabs on Instructor Dashboard.
Settings: Instructor Dashboard
Enable Instructor Dashboard under Site Administration > Plugins > Local plugins > IntelliBoard.net Plugin > Instructor Dashboard. NOTE: Instructor Dashboard can be enabled and set only by Site Administrators.
