Pie charts labels

We improved Pie chart usability by adding additional options for displaying data labels and descriptions for easier data reading

Dependency Filters Update

We improved the algorithm of the automatic filter switch between complex and default view for best performance as well as improved usability. Now complex filter type will auto-switch to the default view if the number of options in a filter does not exceed the defined value in the user profile

Negative values in range filters

We added the ability to put a negative value in range filters to improve flexibility

SQL support in the notification creator

We added support for SQL-built reports in the notification creator

Org role edit page updates

We added the ability to clear the default dataset selection with the cross button

Default Sort on IB users page

We changed the default sort on IB users table and set it based on IB users number in descending order

Data Types Updates

We implemented additional options that allow controlling on the connection level what historical data to bring into IntelliBoard. Now, when in connection filters, deleted enrollments are enabled, IB also brings deleted submissions data for ultimate data integrity and consistency

Data Type Extensions

Rubrics in Unified Tables

While keep expending and refining our data model we have implemented Rubrics data, to enforce our learning outcomes and competency reporting, across supported LMSs. Now Rubrics related tables are available in Visual Builder to be able to build respective reports.

Usability updates 

InContact

We implemented additional data filters to provide advanced flexibility while controlling what data should be accessible within a tool. Now users can select whether they want to opperate with active enrollments only or follow connection filters settings.

Trust Hub

IntelliBoard keeps improving in terms of security standards and policies and ensuring clients have access to all critical information they need. We released brand new site https://trust.intelliboard.net/ that provides latest information related to security, compliance and accessibility. 
The link to the Trust Hub is now also available under success bar within IntelliBoard platform

Color Pallets Updates 

To ensure that IntelliBoard meets high compliance standards and accessibility criteria we have updated color pallets making sure that the feature meets VPAT standards.

Account Settings, user signature

We added ability to add pictures as part of user signature that are used for IntelliBoard notifications

Activity Category 

is gradable – provides a Boolean value that indicates if the activity is gradable or not

Learners Risk Metrics

-Total submissions: provides the total number of submissions made by a learner in a course

-Time to first submission: provides the amount of time it took for a learner to do the first submission

-Time since last submission: provides the amount of time gone since the learner’s last submission

-Total submissions risk: provides a risk value for the total submissions metric for a learner, calculated based on comparison among learners in a course

-Time to first submission risk: provides a risk value for the Time to first submission  metric for a learner, calculated based on comparison among learners in a course

-Time since last submission risk: provides a risk value for the Time to last submission  metric for a learner, calculated based on comparison among learners in a course

-Percentage days visited: provides a value in percentage of total days visited divided by days since enrollment start for a learner

-Percentage days participated: provides a value in percentage of total days participated divided by days since enrollment start for a learner

-Current overdue submissions: provides a count of activities where the due date has passed and this learner has not submitted to the activity

-Current overdue submissions risk: risk calculated based on comparing the number of submissions that are currently overdue(past due date) across all learners in a course 

-Total overdue submissions: provides a count of activities where the due date has passed and the learner did not submit, or the date of first submission was after the due date

-Total overdue submissions risk: risk calculated based on comparing the number of total submissions overdue(past due date) across all learners in a course

Learner Risk Course Metrics

-Average learner submissions: provides the aggregated value of the average number of submissions made by a learner in a course

-Average percentage days visited: provides the average value in percentage of total days visited divided by days since enrollment across all learners in a course

-Average percentage days participated: provides the average value in percentage of total days participated divided by days since enrollment across all learners in a course

-Average current overdue submissions: average value of a count of activities where the due date has passed, and this learner has not submitted to the activity

-Average total overdue submissions: average value of  a count of activities where the due date has passed and the learner did not submit, or the date of first submission was after the due date

New Features

SFTP connection hosted by IntelliBoard is now available as a separate connection type. Allows for easy and secure connection setup between IntelliBoard and your system that supports SFTP export.

Date Types extensions

-Course section SIS ID, Course section Start Date and Course Section End Date have been added to our unified schema and are now available in Visual Builder

-unposted current course grade and score have been added to our unified schema to support advanced reporting for courses with manual grade posting for Canvas LMS

Usability and New Feature Updates

We added an ability to assign data filters based on Moodle Workplace and Totara organizational structures using Import IB users feature

Date Types extensions

New fields have been added to activities table for Moodle-based LMS:

• activity id number: represents optional id number field specified in LMS

-activity completion: boolean field that indicates if activity completion is enabled on activity

Usability Updates

LTI link to specific dataset

We added an ability to set specific parameters for IntelliBoard LTI implementation. Now when configuring LTI in LMS a parameter can be set that defines specific dataset that will be available for end users. This provides more flexibility and in addition to organization roles allows different group of learners/instructors have access to different datasets within LMS via LTI.

Formatting and conditional formatting in export

We have improved our export service and added support of dataset formatting and conditional formatting in export. Now when exporting a dataset in excel format all your formating customizations, colors and conditional formatting will be reflected in excel file.

Number of Replies by Instructor- new field has been added to forum post category that provides number of replies made to a post with instructor course role

Dashboard Builder Preview 

To streamline customizations, improve usability and performance we have provided ability to data-elements loading on dashboard editor. Toggle allows to control when to refresh data on charts/tables in order to speedup dashboard editing process.  

New Data Types

We have added additional field to Courses Category based on clients feedback. 
“Courses Is Used In Cross Listed”: If the selected course is a source for cross listed course, this will return True, otherwise False

Latest Data Update on LTI 
To best inform end users, a “Data Last Updated” field has been added to the header of IntelliBoard’s LTI.  

Default Filters Update
to improve usability and eliminate possible confusion when using date filters we set default range values for data filters for HH:MM:SS to be “00:00:00 - 23:59:59”, in order to always filter from the start of a day for “from” date and to the end of a day for “until” date.

Data Extensions  

We have added Blackboard's Goals data to our competency-based education unified tables.   

Usability Updates
To both improve critical features and maintain consistency in the Builder, we have added the ability to set default sorting and pagination for pie charts. 

We have also added the ability to control the column width for string type and email types by setting a character limit. 

Data Extensions and Optimizations
New fields are available in Builder’s Enrollment Table for increased performance:  

• Visits:  Total sum of visits (mouse clicks or page views) for users in a course 

• Time Spent:  Total sum of time spent by user in a course 

• Participation:  Total sum of participations in a course (quiz attempt, submission, forum post, reply to a post etc.) 

• Is Last Enrollment (Boolean): Field type that indicates the latest (most recent) enrollment to the course.  Used as a filter, this eliminates the duplicated rows if a user has multiple enrollments or statuses.

Users comfortable with SQL Builder can now leverage the complex course filters grouped by categories following the LMS hierarchy.  

Dataset Updates
We’re beginning the process of updating our default reports to improve descriptions for better search function. These updates will provide clearer insights and make it easier to find the right data at a glance. Contact HelpDesk@IntelliBoard.net for additional information regarding this process. 

Default Grading Scale  
Non-integer numbers (i.e. 92.5) can be now leveraged in IntelliBoard’s Default Grading Scheme.  To review your Default Grading Scheme, please go to "Advanced Settings” under your Connection.  The default Grading Scheme is set at the connection level and is applied to all IntelliBoard Users. SSO Option to Remove Login and Password Input on Organization Login Page 
Clients who have enabled SSO may now utilize a new setting which removes the user email and password inputs for all end users who do not have the client specific override key.  When enabled, standard end users will be forced to leverage the SSO option.  Only users with the specific override key will be able to manually override the login page and use the username and password inputs.  For more information, please visit our Knowledge Base: Set Up SSO (Single Sign On)Preview  

Learner Risk Metric Additions 
We continue to add to Learner Risk Metrics to allow Instructors to more easily make comparisons and find trends over time. Leverage visits, time spent, participation as a daily risk point or a total risk point to understand if learners are more at risk than their peers in the same course.  Similarly, time since last participation and time since last visit can be also utilized in the same manner.
