Does IntelliBoard report on historical participation data?

Yes, IntelliBoard does provide historical participation data. Participation data is calculated and stored by IntelliBoard from the moment a connection is established. However, it's important to note that IntelliBoard does not report on historical participation data.

Does IntelliBoard Pro use live data like Legacy?

With IntelliBoard Lite and Legacy, live queries are continuously sent from IntelliBoard to your LMS server, creating a heavy load on your server, especially with large requests. This can lead to server timeouts and increased load on your LMS server due to the creation of new queries with each filter change or action in IntelliBoard Lite.

To address this, IntelliBoard Pro has changed its data querying concept to enhance system performance and reduce the impact on the LMS server. We now migrate data from your LMS server and store it on our servers. When running reports, the data is loaded from our server, eliminating any impact on your LMS server.

To migrate data from your LMS, we utilize scheduled tasks to migrate historical data and export new data daily with minimal impact on your LMS server. This means data processing occurs only once a day. You have the flexibility to schedule data processing in the early morning or before office hours to ensure you have the latest data when needed.

While this may initially seem less convenient, it significantly improves the speed and stress-free utilization of our reporting tools without affecting your LMS server's performance.
