After it is enabled, the Instructor Dashboard is automatically associated with the Teacher Role in the LMS System. Instructors do not need a separate IntelliBoard account to utilize the Instructor Dashboard. IntelliBoard Admins must set up Instructor Dashboards.
Assigning Instructor Roles
From the ADMINISTRATION block in your LMS system, click through the following: Site Administration > Plugins > Local plugins > IntelliBoard.net Plugin
From plugin settings, scroll to the Dashboard filters header. Then scroll to Teacher roles. Choose the roles you want to have access to the Instructor Dashboard. Click "Save changes" in your LMS system.
If you are using custom roles, please also ensure the custom role has the ability to view IntelliBoard in the role permissions. Additionally, the Teacher role must be enabled at the course-level instead of the system-level. Also, the custom role must also be selected in the settings above.
To check the Permissions, please click through the following: Site Administration > Users > Permissions > Define Roles and ensure any custom teacher roles have IntelliBoard [Instructor] set to “allow” (image below; 'Teacher' will be replaced by your custom role name).
Confirming your Subscription
From the ADMINISTRATION block in your LMS system, click through the following: Site Administration > Plugins > Local plugins > IntelliBoard.net Plugin
Subscription: Ensure the email that is associated with the IntelliBoard subscription is correctly entered. Click "Save changes" in your LMS system.
Enabling and Renaming the Instructor Dashboard
From the ADMINISTRATION block in your LMS system, click through the following: Site Administration > Plugins > Local plugins > IntelliBoard.net Plugin
Scroll down the settings page to "Instructor Dashboard".

Renaming:
To personalize the Instructor Dashboard name to best meet your organization's terminology, change the name in the text box. Click "Save changes" in your LMS system.Enabling: To enable the Instructor Dashboard for all users in your LMS system with the [Teacher] Role, make sure the check box is clicked. To disable the Instructor Dashboard for all users in the LMS system, make sure the check box is not clicked. Click "Save changes" in your LMS system.
You can further customize your Instructor Dashboard by deciding which tabs or report columns you would like to see.
Setting the Instructor Dashboard Report Permissions
From the ADMINISTRATION block in your LMS system, click through the following: Site Administration > Plugins > Local plugins > IntelliBoard.net Plugin
From Settings, scroll to the Instructor Dashboard Header.
Enabling and disabling the specific components of the Instructor Dashboard will change the Instructor Dashboard for everyone. While the data within the Instructor Dashboard will change based off the specific student, the template for the Instructor Dashboard remains the same.
If the check box is clicked, the item is enabled for all with Instructor Dashboard access. If the check box is not clicked, the item is disabled.NOTE: Enabling "Group Aggregation" setting in this block will filter Instructor Dashboard for teachers not only by their courses and students, but also by course groups they're enrolled in. This will be applied for all tabs on Instructor Dashboard.

Settings: Instructor Dashboard
Enable Instructor Dashboard under Site Administration > Plugins > Local plugins > IntelliBoard.net Plugin > Instructor Dashboard.
NOTE: Instructor Dashboard can be enabled and set only by Site Administrators.The 1st group of settings here (ends on “Course Navigation Link for Reports”) is related to Instructor Dashboard Customization.
Dashboard Page - will enable Instructor Dashboard for Instructors.
Courses Page - will allow Instructors to have and view courses that they are assigned to.
Report Page - will allow Instructors to utilize IntelliBoard reports in their Instructor Dashboard.
NOTE: Reports must be previously enabled from IntelliBoard side for Instructor Dashboard to let teachers to see them.Course Navigation Link for Reports - will make course names as links in IntelliBoard reports to allow Instructors to quickly navigate to the course page.
NOTE: Here you may notice Courses Sessions Page setting, which is left from old plugin version and is not actionable anymore. Feel free to skip this.
The 2nd group of settings here (starts with “Group aggregation”) also relates to Instructor Dashboard Customization.
Group aggregation - will limit instructors to see only data from their course groups.
Instructor redirect - will direct teachers to the Instructor Dashboard automatically after login.
Show course short name instead course full name - will make main tab on Instructor Dashboard to show courses within their short names instead of the full ones.
Show hidden/suspended courses for [instructor] - will display hidden (suspended) courses in the Instructor Dashboard.
Show all courses available for [instructor] - will display all courses to instructors where they’re enrolled in.
Show all courses available for [instructor] with [update] permissions - will display courses to instructors where they have “Update course settings” role permission.
Instructor custom groups - will limit instructor to see only data from their custom groups.
NOTE: This is a custom developed functionality, and may not work for every client.Hide suspended enrollments - will hide users suspended in courses from instructors on a dashboard.
Enabling Overview Monitors under Instructor Dashboard will allow Instructor to track Learner Progress, Grade and Activity Progress, and Course overview.
Data in yellow box displays total numbers of courses that are assigned to the instructor, the total number of learners in assigned courses, and the total number of graded activities in courses.

Enabling Current Progress and Total Students overviews will allow Instructors to see learner's course completion, Learner Average Grade in Courses, and learner’s course activity.

Enabling Correlation will display the relationship between the average grade for the course against learner total time spent.

Enabling Learner Engagement will display learners' activity attempts in selected Course.

Enabling Student Grade Progression will display Student's grade progress during specific period of time.

Enabling Event Utilization will display learners total time spent on course events.

Enabling Activity Utilization will display total time spent on activities in specific course.

Enabling Topic Utilization will display total total time spent on topics in specific course.

Graded Activities Overview will display average grade in the activities in specific course. Exporting in CSV, XLS, PDF is also available by clicking on icons in blue box.
NOTE: This can’t be disabled from settings.

Settings: Instructor Dashboard Courses
Enabling Courses tab under Instructor Dashboard will allow Instructors to see his courses and track progress. When enabled, you may customize columns visible in the report.
Enabling columns in Instructor Courses tab will allow instructor to see additional information about courses they teach:
Course Name - Names of courses instructor teaches.
Short name - Short names of instructor’s courses.
Category - Categories of the related courses.
Enrolled/Completed Learners - Numbers on enrolled users in instructor’s courses and completed users among enrolled ones.
Course average grade - Average grades in instructor’s courses.
Sections - Number of sections in related course.
Activities/Resources - Number of activities and resources in their courses.
Visits - Total number of visits (mouse clicks) in courses.
Time spent - Total time spent in courses.
Actions – Activities - will allow Instructors to see course activities as an extra table.
Actions – Learners - will allow Instructors to see course learners as an extra table.
Percentage of completed learners - The percentage of completed users in courses.
Average visits per student - The average number of visits (mouse clicks) per user in courses.
Average time spent per student - The average time spent per user in courses.
Enabling Actions will allow Instructor to review Learners and Activities on courses. By clicking on Learners, it will open to Instructor new page with information about learners' course enrollments, progress, actions and grades in activities.
Learners action will need to be enabled under Site Administration > Plugins > Local Plugins > IntelliBoard Settings > “Instructor Courses” block > “Actions – Learners” setting.
Enabling columns in “Instructor Courses > Learners” block of plugin setting will allow instructor to see additional information about learners from courses they teach:
Learner Name - Full name of the user enrolled into the course.
Email address - User’s email address.
Enrolled - The date when user was enrolled into the course.
Last Access - The date when user accessed the course at last.
Status - User’s completion status in the course (and date if the course was completed; based on Moodle completion settings).
Grade - User’s course grade in percents, and a letter grade (based on Moodle settings).
Completed Activities/Resources - Number of activities completed by user within the course.
Visits - Total number of course visits (mouse clicks) made by user.
Time Spent - Total number of time spent within the course by user.
Actions - will allow Instructors to see learner activity grades within the course.
Average Visits Per Student - The average number of visits (mouse clicks) per active users in courses.
Average Time Spent Per Student - The average time spent per active users in courses.Enabling Actions above will allow Instructor to review activity grades for the selected user in the course. By clicking on Grades, it will open to Instructor new page with information about learners' grade in course activities. Enabling columns in “Instructor Courses > Learners > Grades” block of plugin setting will allow instructor to see additional information about learners from courses they teach:
Activity name - Names of activities within the course.
Type - Type of the selected activity.
Grade - Learner’s activity grade in percents, and a letter grade (based on Moodle settings).
Graded - The date when learner was graded in the selected activity.
Status - User’s activity completion status in the course (and date if the activity was completed; based on Moodle completion settings).
Visits - Total number of activity visits (mouse clicks) made by user.
Time Spent - Total number of time spent within the activity by user.
Enabling Actions will allow Instructor to review Learners and Activities on courses. By clicking on Activities, it will open new page with list of all activities related to the specific course. New tab will display activity progress, submission, grades, status, visits, time spent.
Activities action will need to be enabled under Site Administration > Plugins > Local Plugins > IntelliBoard Settings > “Instructor Courses” block > “Actions – Activities” setting.
Enabling columns in “Instructor Courses > Activities” block of plugin setting will allow instructor to see additional information about course activities they teach:
Activity name - Names of activities within the course.
Type - Type of the selected activity.
Learners Completed - Total number of users completed the selected activity.
Average Grade - The average activity grade in percents, and a letter grade (based on Moodle settings).
Visits - Total number of activity visits (mouse clicks) made by users.

Settings: Instructor Dashboard Reports
Reports Tab can be available for Instructors only if Main IntelliBoard Account will enable it. There are two ways to enable Reports for Instructors from IntelliBoard side:
Under Settings > LMS Visibility: Reports - Select reports for Instructor Dashboard.
Make reports visible directly from reports' personalization. Go to desired Report > Personalize report > Visible in LMS.
NOTE: Some reports may not be available for instructors.
Settings: Instructor Dashboard Monitors
Monitor Tab can be available for Instructors only if Main IntelliBoard Account will enable it. There are two ways to enable Monitors for Instructors from IntelliBoard side:
Under Settings + Options > LMS: Visibility: Monitors - Select Monitors for Instructor Dashboard.
Make Monitors visible directly from Monitor Sets. Go to desired Monitor Set > Personalize Monitor Set > Visible in LMS.
