Description:
Provides a high-level review of course and section information—catalog details, section summaries, enrollments, average grade, total activities, and first/last access. Grey columns show site-level info; blue columns show course-specific details. Designed for Registrars, LMS Admins, and Instructional Designers to verify courses and ensure data accuracy in the LMS. Filter by course name and status.
Roles that may benefit from this report:
Registrar: A registrar would use the Course Verification Report to ensure the accuracy and completeness of course information, including course codes, terms, and enrollment details for official records and reporting.
LMS Admin: An LMS admin would use the report to verify the configuration and activity of courses within the LMS, ensuring proper setup and identifying any discrepancies or issues that need resolution.
Instructional Designers: Can use to ensure course structures, enrollments, and activity setups align with curriculum design and LMS data accuracy.

Header Data:
This data updates when filters are utilized.
Total Courses: The total number of courses that appear in the report
Average Grade: The average grade of courses displayed in the report.
Average Number of Activities: The average number of activities per course displayed in the report.

Course Name
Friendly name (or everyday name) for the course. This is not attached to the URL for the course in the LMS. It is useful when downloading a report as .csv or .xlsx file.
Course URL
URL to the course in the LMS. This is an IntelliBoard generated field.
Course Category
Friendly name (everyday name) of a category unit used to group courses or subcategories
Course Category Path
The location of a category unit within a structure used to group courses or subcategories
Term
The name of the term, a set period of time often used to organize courses, as defined on the connected platform
Course ID
The unique value automatically created for each course by the connected LMS system
Course SIS ID
The unique value automatically created for each course by the connected SIS data.
Course Code
User-defined code for the course, typically the SIS ID
Course Creation Date
Date for when the course was created in the LMS
Course Status
Displays whether the course is visible in the LMS as “Active” or “Inactive”
Course Start Date
Date for the scheduled start of the course
Course End Date
Date for the scheduled end of the course
Course Format
Course format such as weeks, topics, social, sites, etc.
Course Section Status
Displays whether the course is visible in the LMS as “Active” or “Inactive”, specifically if the section is visible.
Course Instructor(s) Email(s)
The unique value automatically created for each course by the connected LMS system
Total Users
The total number of enrollments in the course, determined by the sum of unique User ID enrolled in the course.
Course Average Grade
Average grade of all learners in the course
Total Activities
Total number of activities in course, determined by sum of unique Activities ID.
First Course Access Date
Date of user's first access to the course
Last Course Access Date
Date of user’s last access to the course
