Weekly Notification for Courses I Have Not Accessed in Last 7 Days

This automated notification will send you a list of all courses you are currently enrolled that you have not accessed within the last 7 days helping you stay on track with assignments, grades, and overall academic progress.

Steps to Set Up Your Notification

  1. Notification Details:

    • Notification Name: Weekly Notification for Courses I Have Not Accessed in Last 7 Days

    • Notification Description: This notification automatically emails a list to me of any course I’m currently enrolled that I have not accessed in the past 7 days.

  2. Send to: Select “Enter Recipients” from the drop down menu.

  3. Email: Enter your email and/or the email(s) of those who will receive the notification. You may want to include a coach, advisor, tutor, parent, or friend to help keep you accountable.

  4. Subject: "Weekly Alert: Courses You Haven’t Accessed in the Last 7 Day” (Example)

  5. Message: "The attached report is a list of courses I’m enrolled in but haven’t accessed within the last 7 days. I need to check in on these courses to ensure I’m up to date with readings, assignments, and other activities. Log in to my IntelliBoard account to see more information." (Example)

  6. Attachment:

    • Dataset: Select "My Course Progress" from the dropdown menu.
      *Datasets must be linked or cloned to “My Datasets” to use as an attachment.

    • Set Appropriate Filters:

      • Set “Last Activity Date” filter to “Past” “7” “Days”

      • You can set “Course Grade (Percentage)” filter to preferred course grade threshold to show only courses you have a low grades in as well as have not accessed.

      • The “Learner Name” filter should only display your name.

      • You can set the “Course Name” filter to only report on specific courses. This is useful if you have completed courses from past terms in your course list.

      • Save the filters.

    • File Type: Choose your preferred format for the dataset attachment using the drop down menu (CSV, XLSX, or PDF).

    • You can also check the box next to “Do Not Send Empty Report” so the report is not sent if empty.

  7. Select Date Range:

    • Start Date: Choose the date you want to receive this report after the drop/add period.

    • End Date: Choose the last date you want to receive this report.

  8. Notification Schedule:

    • Frequency: Set frequency for what works best for you. We recommend setting this report to send “daily” with a short date range.

    • Time: Select the preferred time for the report to be sent (24-hour format).

    • Additional Fields: You may need to select additional information dependent upon the frequency, including the day you want the notification sent.

  9. Final Steps:

    • Click Save to schedule your notification, or Save and Send Now to receive the first report immediately.

This automated notification will send you a list of all courses you are currently enrolled that you have a current course grade below 70, helping you prioritize assignments, grades, and overall academic progress.

Steps to Set Up Your Notification

    • Notification Name: Weekly Notification for Courses in which My Course Grade is below 70

    • Notification Description: This notification automatically emails a list to me of any course I’m currently enrolled that I have a course grade below 70.

  2. Send to: Select “Enter Recipients” from the drop down menu.
