To enable sharing of datasets and dashboards among users in your organization, the Primary Account holder (and other authorized users) can create IntelliBoard Users (IB Users) and assign them Organizational Roles. An Organizational Role acts as a template containing datasets and permissions, which can be applied to multiple IB Users. Each IB User represents a credentialed account within IntelliBoard, allowing them to access specific datasets based on their assigned data assignments.
To access IB Users and Org Roles:
Login to your IntelliBoard Pro account and click on your Avatar to display a drop down menu.
Select “Manage IB Users” to access IB User page

Frequently Asked Questions:
What is an Org or Organizational Role?
An Organizational Role is a template of datasets and account permissions designed for a specific type of group/role of people within an organization. An Organizational Role is then assigned to an IB User. Examples of an Org Role include: Instructor, Learner, Course Admin, and All Access.

How many IB Users can I have?
No limit; your organization may have as many IB User Accounts as you need. We want your organization - from executive leadership to learner - to have access to make data-driven decisions.
Are IB Users the same as an LMS Account?
No, but we recommend that the IB User has the same email for both their IntelliBoard account and their pirmary LMS email. This will allow the IB User to have access to their datasets through the LMS after the LTI is enabled.
What's the difference between an IB User and an Org Role?
The Organizational Role is a type of role; the IB User is an actual person. Org Roles are templates that assign access of certain datasets. Many IB Users may have the same Org Role.
For example, Dean Jane Smith is a specific IB User, who has the Organizational Role of Educational Dean.
Why do IB Users need an Org Role?
Each IB user is required to have an Organizational Role to dictate the account permissions within IntelliBoard.
Who sets up the first IB Users and Org Roles?
The IntelliBoard subscription is by organization, and starts with the Primary Account Holder. This Primary Account Holder can be a single person or a generic email for a team approach. The Primary Account Holder can edit or leverage IntelliBoard's default Organizational Roles to create the initial team of IntelliBoard administrators.
Can I narrow account permissions and data assignments for IB Users?
Organizational Roles and IB Users can be narrowed to allow certain account permissions, certain datasets, and certain data assignments.
For example, a "Instructor" Organizational Role may have access to create and send Notifications, leverage InContact, but may not have the ability to edit or publish new reports. Narrowed through the IB User, the Instructor can only see the courses taught by that individual Instructor.
Do Instructors and Learners need to have an IB User account?
While Instructors and Learners may have IB Users, you can also enable an Instructor or Learner LTI where one Organizational Role is applied to any user in the LMS who has a course-level instructor or learner role. This allows all instructors or all learners to have a smiliar dashboard, where the data reflects their courses.
