Usage: Financial Aid teams use this dataset to monitor learner participation for attendance reporting, ensuring that learners remain engaged and eligible for aid.
User Status Summary:
The User Status Summary report displays cumulative user performance across all site. This report shows all users even if they're not enrolled into any course and never accessed the platform.
Purpose: To display cumulative user performance across the entire platform, even for users who aren’t enrolled in or accessing any courses.
Use: Financial aid officers can use this report to identify users who have a low average course grade, might be at risk of losing financial aid and need outreach or support.

Summary of Students Who Have Not Submitted Census Activities
This automated notification will send you a list of students that have not submitted the required census activity and may be at risk of losing financial aid to pursue intervention efforts.
Steps to Set Up Your Notification
Notification Details:
Notification Name: Summary of Students Who Have Not Submitted Census Activities
Notification Description: This notification automatically emails a list to me of students who have not yet submitted the required census activity using the Missing Submission to pursue intervention efforts to limit financial aid loss.
Send to: Select “Enter Recipients” from the drop down menu.
Email: Enter your email and/or the email(s) of those who will receive the notification.
Subject: "Summary Report: Students Missing Census Activity Submissions” (Example)
Message: "Attached is the list of students that have not submitted a required activity for census reporting and may be at risk of losing financial aid. Log in to your IntelliBoard account to see more information and send notifications to students directly from the dataset." (Example)
Attachment:
Dataset: Select "Missing Learner Submission (Assignment, Forum/Discussion, or Quiz)" from the dropdown menu.
*Datasets must be linked or cloned to “My Datasets” to use as an attachment.Set Appropriate Filters:
You can set “Course” filter to filter report to show only students in specific courses, if desired.
If applicable, set the “Terms” filter to filter report to only the current term.
Set “Enrollment Status” filter to show only students with an Active enrollment status.
Save the filters.
File Type: Choose your preferred format for the dataset attachment using the drop down menu (CSV, XLSX, or PDF).
You can also check the box next to “Do Not Send Empty Report” so the report is not sent if empty.
Select Date Range:
Start Date: Choose a date that fits your needs. We recommend a date prior to the final census reporting date that allows time for intervention efforts.
End Date: Choose the census end date for your final reporting needs.
Notification Schedule:
Frequency: Set frequency for what works best for you. It may be a daily report leading up to census date reporting, or another schedule that meets your needs.
Time: Select the preferred time for the report to be sent (24-hour format).
Additional Fields: You may need to select additional information dependent upon the frequency, including the day you want the notification sent.
Final Steps:
Click Save to schedule your notification, or Save and Send Now to receive the first report immediately.

Notification Description: This notification automatically emails a list to my email of students with an average course grade below 60 so I can prioritize contact with them to support their educational needs and prevent loss of financial aid. This notification uses the User Status Summary report.
Send to: Select “Enter Recipients” from the drop down menu.
Email: Enter your email and/or the email(s) of those who will receive the notification.
Subject: "Academic Alert: Students with an Average Course Grade Below 60" (Example)
Message: "Attached is the list of at-risk learners with an average course grade below 60. Please reach out to students on this list to offer support and prevent loss of financial aid. Log in to IntelliBoard for more information and to send notifications directly from the dataset." (Example)

You can also filter by 'Creation Date” to display only students whose user accounts were created within a specific date range.
You can also filter by “Role Name” or “User Status” if desired.
Save the filters.
File Type: Choose your preferred format for the dataset attachment using the drop down menu (CSV, XLSX, or PDF).
Additionally, you can enable the "Do Not Send Empty Report" option to prevent the weekly email notification from being sent if the report contains no data.
